Project Administrator

We have a vacancy for a Project Administrator based in our London office. This provides an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to pursure a career in project management, with the scope for developing into a Project Manager role.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Capture and report Project progress to the programme and project managers and team
- Assist the programme manager in identifying risk and critical path activities in the various Project Plans
- Progress chasing and reporting
- Book meetings and take meeting notes
- Maintain the Clients Release Schedule
- Create jobs and allocate budgets
- Track and report Project costs
- Collect and report financial data to the Programme Manager
- Prepare invoices and work orders or statements of work
- Manage time sheets with team members
- Book resources for meetings or project work
- Communicate with all members of the team
- Use the company document storage system Alfresco to file documents for the projects
- Balance the demands of both teams and work with programme managers to reduce conflicts
- Create or change project plans if required to
- Other ad hoc duties
The successful applicant will be required to have excellent oral and written communication skills, be conscientious, and be able to work to tight deadlines. They should be competent in all Microsoft Office applications, and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferable. Experience of managing software-related projects would be an advantage.
Basic salary of up to £22,000 p.a. plus bonuses dependant on qualifications and experience based on a 35 hour working week.
