FIGARO WEB Performance exceeds 50,000 Trades per day

JHC’s FIGARO WEB is the comprehensive offering for on line trading.  FIGARO currently supports some of the largest on line equity trading companies in the UK.  Many of these clients have a requirement to allow their customers to enter and receive quotes automatically.  The quicker these trades can be performed the better the client revenue stream and service.

JHC is always looking ahead to the needs of those clients and so recently instigated a comprehensive performance and benchmarking test of FIGARO WEB to ensure that it can meet the punishing requirements.

In these tests, JHC undertook a process to determine if both the web application and the back office platform can perform correctly whilst processing high volumes of trades. Using an industry recognised performance tool called JMeter, and  under strict criteria an average of 6700 trades were entered and accepted in a sixty minute period.  This equates to over 50,000 trades per working day, which is greater than any of the peak days on the London Stock Exchange for retail clients.

JHC Run to Raise Funds for Pakistan Flood Victims

JHC entered a team in the Birmingham half-marathon to raise funds for those affected by the floods in Pakistan. Everybody completed the course and with over £2000 pledged so far, it marks a great effort by all those taking part.

JHC Successful at Systems In The City

At the prestigious Systems in the City 2010 event in front of Stockbrokers, Fund Managers and Investment Bankers on board HQS Wellington, Stephen Pinner, the Managing Director of Goodacre UK, announced this year’s winners of the Systems in the City Awards.

JHC’s Figaro was the winner of “Best Retail Settlement System” for the second year running as well as picking up the award for “Most Cost Effective System”. John Motson, the celebrated football commentator,  presented Managing Director, John Blackman with the awards.
