The new fields have to be added to the middle of the key in order to re-sequence the data correctly. The MDR006WK file is only used in this process and nowhere else. It is cleared at the start of each manufactured drip run so does not hold any permanent data.

The addition of a new field to the Valuations Linking Extract is an unorthodox file change as the field has been added to the middle of the record rather than to the end.
As the file (DAV91F) contains no useful data (it is re-built every time report is run) the file will be cleared down by the installation process. Its contents will not be restored.
